Here are the health benefits of eating seeds and nuts
So I have read Blogs that describe the personal healing properties of seeds and nuts especially for individuals who have had cancers, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and persistent weight gain. All have stated that seeds and nuts such as walnuts, pistachios, chia and flax seeds etc have more than helped them reach optimum health.
Bloggers emphasised that many nuts including pistachios have a high level of protein that they can be eaten instead of red meats.

Dr Lisa Young: ‘ internationally-recognized nutritionist; International Speaker and Adjunct professor of nutrition at NYU; Author, ‘The Portion Teller Plan’ in this Huffington Post blog explains her top 7 seeds and nuts winners.
Over the last year or so we have seen an increase in popularity and variety of seeds and nuts eaten by the general public. Bargain chain stores such as Poundland and 99p shops now have a growing section dedicated to seeds and nuts. Asda and Tesco have several sections in their stores promoting new and curious seeds and all targeting the more health conscious, ordinary consumer.
This trend could simply be in response to marketing campaigns aimed at attracting niche affluent customers but at the same time it could also be providing products where there is a demand.
Either way we are happy that these changes are here and we now can choose what we snack on.
