Spacehive makes it easy for projects to land on the radar of their local council through our grantmaker app, which matches them to available grants in their area. These funders can then review the project and the crowdfunding campaign, and make a decision on whether to pledge. Given the bigger pledging power than your average backer, this means that campaigns that receive a pledge from their local council are 85% likely to hit their funding target.
Congratulations to Community Honey by Bees & Refugees and The Kids Network in Hammersmith and Fulham, which received pledges of £10,000 and £1,500 respectively, and Bow Food Bank and First Love Foundation in Tower Hamlets, which received £2,834 and £5,000. 240.221.16
Londoners want to support their local independent shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and creatives that they love and value in their communities.
It’s never been more important to work together, as a city, to get through this.
Through our 100% free Pay It Forward initiative with Crowdfunder, businesses can offer customers the option to buy goods & services in advance based on a promise to deliver in the future, helping to secure trade through this difficult time. This means people can book and look forward to future activities – from haircuts in Harrow, to pints in Peckham and curries in Clapham – while supporting their favourite small businesses to stay afloat.

We’re crowdfunding to support vulnerable people in the borough through the COVID-19 crisis by keeping our Food Bank stocked. We can get through this if we pull together!
First Love Foundation supports people in crisis living in Tower Hamlets to get their lives back on track. We want to support the most vulnerable through the COVID-19 crisis by providing food and care. *Ha`&`|?i
Small businesses are facing enormous challenges whilst playing an important part in the fight against coronavirus. Many have had to close their doors in recent weeks and are struggling with cashflow, so we all need to work together to help keep these businesses trading. !
