Business Publications – Full Impact
Having ploughed my way through the Revised Edition of Key Person of Influence by Daniel Priestley, it is now time to put one particular advice given into action ie publish.
My colleague Bybreen Samuels grasped that concept from early on and adopted her publication, ‘Non Profit Booster’, as centre to her business model.
Bob’s Sales Business Publications
I attended Bob Etherington’s sales training programme a number of years ago and held onto his book, ‘Cold Calling for Chickens’ until I was able to contact him again, and now I am reading another one of his publication, ‘Selling Skills for Complete Amateurs’.

All of the above use their books as business cards; for example when I attend meetings with Bybreen she always, always removes the plastic wallet revealing her book, before launching into her honed pitch.
I get it! Well, now I do. It has taken me a long time to realise that producing a convincing publication can boost sales and generate interest in any business; even after reading about the meteoric rise which resulted when Robert Kiyosaki presented his book, ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ on the Oprah Winfrey show I still did not grasp the full impact of having a publication.
