Mark Dalgety started his business with £1000 taken from his credit card which he used to purchase quantities of cerasie tea leaves. He then created unique tea bags and using his car as his sole form of transport he sold his teas to shops and outlets around London and the South East. Now his products, including his Instant Ginger Tea, are sold in most of the big 5 supermarkets and on Amazon http://amzn.to/1E9INJb. Well done Mark!
We will begin our tour of East End Chippies with Regal Fish Bar on Bethnal Green Road. I visited this fish and chips shop one very cold but sunny Tuesday and bought their small version of fish and chips. Now I frequent a more local chippie to where I live because the portions are enormous, the fish cooked to perfection and the chips huge, chunky and fried dry. For me this chippy is the best in East London and one of the more authentic version although owned by a Turkish family. However Regal Fish bar was not bad, even surprisingly tasty and judging by the queue, of mainly men, others think the same.
